A personal Scheduling Coordinator with more than 20 years of experience, will be assigned to you to ensure that your Home Health Aide is an excellent personality fit, has the skills you need, and to schedule the caregiver for the days and times you want.
Our knowledgeable Scheduling Coordinator will also provide an empathetic ear to listen to any concerns that may arise and be instrumental in resolving any issues. They are an essential member of your home care team.
The Scheduling department is the lifeblood of SARA Companion HomeCare Services.
- They are the communications hub between the Client, the Caregiver, the Client Care Coordinator, the Clinical department and even Accounting.
- They match clients with caregivers looking for the perfect relationship keeping in mind the clients needs – days, hours, personality, language, skills, and other factors.
- Your Scheduling Coordinator keeps track of the schedules of both the Client and the Home Health Aide, to make sure coverage is at the home when needed and all parties are informed of days off.
- They find replacement Caregivers as needed due to illness, vacation time, or if a change is requested for any reason.
- Your Scheduling Coordinator is the first person our Clients call with any problems that occur, whether it be that the client doesn’t need assistance for a day, a request to change their aide, or if the patient has gone to the hospital. Your Scheduling Coordinator will contact everyone at the agency who needs to know and relay the situation especially if it is a health related one. As needed, they contact SARA’s Director of Patient Services and your Client Care Coordinator.
- A Scheduling Coordinator is on-call 7 days a week because SARA knows issues don’t always arise weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Your Scheduling Coordinator is pleasant, resourceful, understanding and a great listener.
